Coronary Artery Calcium Test (CAC)

Uses CT equipment to produce pictures of the coronary arteries to determine if they are blocked or narrowed
Is a preventative measure to identify and prevent heart attacks and strokes in patients
Serves as an indicator for atherosclerosis or coronary artery disease (CAD) (American Heart Association)

I had an MRI of my shoulder and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I was very pleased with the service. They have music and will try to make it as comfortable as possible and the time it took was not very long at all!
